We’re ready for the long weekend coming up and excited to celebrate the Fourth of July! As many of us living in South Florida have already experienced, we are in for a hot summer and there is no better way to kick off these months than by cooling down with a pool party, rain permitting. Here we share some of our favorite tips to ensure you and your guests have an enjoyable time.

With these higher temperatures, there are a few things you may forget while having fun. With the harsh summer heat and intense rays of the sun in full effect, your July 4th guests must remain hydrated and UV-protected. Set up a sun supplies station for guests to use throughout the party. Keep outdoor essentials nearby with a supply station stylishly stocked with rolled towels, sunblock, and ice-cold water. You can get creative and dress this area up as much as you want. Throw in various red, white and blue patriotic decor to keep with the theme of the holiday. Add some fun with pool floats, fun desserts, or themed drinks! This station is something that every guest can use (and definitely will appreciate).

We love seeing our clients utilizing their outdoor kitchens to entertain. Host a full-on BBQ or have guests bring their favorite dishes. Patriotic food and drinks go a long way and there are plenty of fun recipes you can try. Burgers are a must but also look to low-fuss healthy options like grilled shrimp and grilled vegetable kebabs. Summer salads look and taste incredible and make sure even the fussiest guests leave satisfied.

Most importantly, always make sure to enjoy the holiday with your loved ones! Happy Fourth of July from our family to yours!
