Do you know an extraordinary public health official or department? If so, now is your time to acknowledge them! The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Dr. Neil Lowry Memorial Award. The award will honor and provide $5,000 to a public health official or department that has have made outstanding contributions to advance the public’s healthy and safe use of recreational water. It is awarded to support educational, technical, and operational activities of individuals and departments.

The award is given in memory of Dr. Neil Lowry, a long‐time member of APSP, who influenced the pool and spa industry for over 25 years as a consultant to government and private industry.

Safety and health are huge factors that the swimming pool industry recognizes. Treasure Pools and Services Inc. supports these beliefs and educates each of their clients with the most up-to-date safety and legal requirements. Be sure to not only learn this information, but to share it with your family and friends. You never know when accidents can happen and there are usually minor things that could have been done to prevent them.
