The holidays are a time to spend with the ones you love. Most importantly, you want to be in an enjoyable and safe environment. In South Florida, we are lucky enough to be able to enjoy these winter months outside. As a homeowner, having a backyard is key and at Treasure Pools we are able to help you create your own backyard oasis.
On the entertaining end of things, what better way to spice up your backyard then to add a fire pit? A fire pit adds a romantic atmosphere to the pool area – you can appreciate the chill of the season while anticipating the fun your pool will offer in spring. Roast marshmallows, revisit lovely family memories, and make plans for fun family times in the very place in which great memories are made. This truly brings being home for the holidays to life and is a way to ensure that all guests feel at home and welcome.
For safety, we always recommend that safety measures are taken all year-round, but as you have more guests and children at your home we put even more of an emphasis on this. Your swimming pool should meet all the safety requirements from The National Swimming Pool Institute (NSPI) and any other organization. However, most importantly, there should always be an alert adult in the area. This adult is responsible for the children and even other adults that are enjoying the pool. Adults should keep children away from the pool drains, pipers and other entrapments. It is very important that all children near and in the swimming pool have learned how to swim properly. Most children can start taking swimming lessons around age 4. Check with you local swimming pool provider or pediatrician for more information.
From our family to yours, have a safe and happy holidays!
